Surfing

Trafalgar surf school (Run by our friend Laura) offers surfing lessons for kids and adults at all levels, rents out boards and will even pick you up you can find out more info and contact her here:

Horse riding.

In San Ambrosio, a small hamlet just 1km from the house you can find a small riding shool run by a friendly German family. They have lessons for kids and also run treks throught hepine forest.

Mountain biking

Mountain bikes can be rented in Vejer or Conil and of course there are many fantastic rides to go on from the house. Try a circuit up to the base of the windmills or through the pine forest and drop down to the beach.

Paragliding.

We´ve not been brave enough to try this but Fly Spain offers lessons and courses in English from Vejer. Check out the website here. If you survive then let us know how it goes!!

Whale watching.

From Tarifa, we would recommend this to all our visitors. It´s a fantastic trip (request the speed boat!) and there is a very high possibility you will see both pilot and killer whales as well as Dolphins. One of the times we went out we were surrounded by a school of eight killer whales...Amazing

Tennis.

As well as in the hotels There are tennis courts in the local sports centre where you can rent a court for an hour for 3 euros

Windsurfing/ Kitesurfing

The whole coastline is perfect for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The centre of activity takes place around Tarifa, where you can take lessons and hire equipment, However the many beaches and prevailing winds make this a sport that can be practised anywhwhere.
